The Ranger Sequoia has a pretty high crit chance vs other pistols in the game and is quite durable being able to fire 745 rounds before breaking from full condition. It also is one of the most beautifully designed guns in the game. It has the best base damage of any pistol in the game. It makes you feel like one of the most badass people to walk the wastes. First and foremost it’s an icon of the Mojave wasteland. 
There are a few ways to get it, the easiest is to pickpocket a veteran ranger but you can also get it by doing the return to sender quest. These guns are carried by the best of the best, the veteran rangers. The rangers that roam the wasteland carrying out their orders to save people and destroy the enemies of the NCR are legends.
